A Big Egg

A family musical show in which children's author Steven Lee and the audience invent a story about siblings Jack and Molly hunting the world's biggest egg.

A Big Egg is a family musical by Steven Lee, part of the Story Time series from the creators of There Was An Old Lady Who Swallowed A Fly. The show takes place in Steven's writing shed, where a case of mistaken identity with a neighbour's dog leads him to create a new story with help from the audience. Children join in shaping a tale about Jack and Molly's quest for the biggest egg in the world, meeting quails, chickens, geese, emus and ostriches along the way. The show combines puppetry, songs and live interaction, and is billed as ideal for ages 2 to 102.
