A day of hip hop dance, self-protection, yoga and creative workshops for girls aged 11-16, run by Body Politic Dance in Oxford.

Body Politic Dance present DefendHER, a full-day workshop programme for girls aged 11-16 designed by their Training Ground Artists. The day combines hip hop dance workshops, personal safety and self-protection sessions, specialist guest talks, yoga and wellbeing activities, and creative sessions and discussions. The event aims to build confidence in the body, develop practical skills, support wellbeing and connect young women in the community, running from 10am to 4pm.
