A choral evensong-style service at St Mary's Westerham with candle-lighting in memory of loved ones and music by Faure and Gibbons.
St Mary's Church in Westerham holds a Vespers for the Departed, a service based on Choral Evensong during which attendees can light a candle in memory of loved ones. The music includes pieces by Faure and Gibbons along with hymns. Names can be added to a list at the back of the church for remembrance during the prayers, and the service lasts about an hour.
