The London Guild of Weavers, Spinners & Dyers holds a monthly meeting at Burridge Gardens. This session focuses on Ceres Studio, co-founded by Lara Mantell and Florence Hawkins in 2020, whose Brixton studio makes colour for screen printing from local and sustainable natural dye sources. The studio prints onto organic hemp, European linen, silks, wool and paper, and teaches methods for extracting and screen-printing with natural dyes. The meeting runs from 14.00 to 16.00.
