About
After-dark steam trains run on three dates around school half-term. Trains begin at 16:00 on each date, with the last train at 20:00; no trains run before 16:00. Visitors are advised to bring a torch and prepare for wet weather.
The railway runs its Halloween Spooky Specials on Sunday 25 October, Friday 30 October and Saturday 31 October 2026. Steam trains run at frequent intervals from 16:00, with the last train at 20:00. Advance booking is not needed. The operator advises warm clothing and a torch because the car park is dark, and warns visitors to expect wet weather.
