Babies travelling in-arms without a gift are free; a gift can be omitted for an older child travelling at the adult fare.

A steam train ride brings Santa aboard to meet passengers, then children visit his grotto after the 15-minute round trip. Each child receives a gift, and adult tickets include a hot drink.
Santa meets the train during the 15-minute round trip, then children can meet him in the grotto. The published departures are 10:00, 11:00, 12:00, 13:30, 14:30, 15:30 and 16:30 on 12, 13, 19 and 20 December 2026. The 12:00 train on 13 December is a quiet session with no music and brighter grotto lighting.
