About
Learn everyday smartphone skills in a gently paced beginners’ course.
Practise settings, calls, messages and useful apps, with guidance on online safety and accessing information and services. Bring your smartphone, or ask the tutor for advice about getting one. Register your interest with TAP. The published course period runs from 23 September to 9 December 2026. This is part of TAP’s programme for members. Membership applications normally require age 60 or over, Camden residence, low income and acceptance of the charity’s self-help principles. Membership costs £15 for 12 months; this is separate from any activity charge. Contact TAP about joining. The monthly programme is indicative and may change.
