About

A work-in-progress reading of Matthew Knights' new play If Stone Could Speak about artist Adam Christie, with a post-reading discussion.

Knights Theatre presents an informal work-in-progress reading of If Stone Could Speak, a new play by Matthew Knights exploring the life of artist and sculptor Adam Christie, a patient at Sunnyside Hospital (formerly the Royal Asylum of Montrose) from 1901 to 1950. Some of Christie's works are displayed at Montrose Museum, where the reading takes place. The sharing is intended to help develop the play and is followed by a discussion with the audience.
