The Reconnection Project
About
A free showcase of original songs, poems, spoken word and personal stories created by members of the Reconnection Project wellbeing programme.
The Reconnection Project is a lottery-funded creative programme supporting people in the Lowestoft area who have experienced poor mental health, addiction recovery, homelessness or domestic abuse, using the arts to improve wellbeing. Over ten months, members have created performance pieces which are showcased at this event. The evening features original songs, poems, spoken word and personal stories performed with the project house band. It is an alcohol-free event run by Status Creative CIC in partnership with Suffolk Sober Spaces, with soft drinks available.
