Vivaldi's Four Seasons at Christmas

A candlelit Baroque Christmas concert featuring Vivaldi's Four Seasons, Corelli and Torelli Christmas Concertos, Handel, and Bach, with soloist Emmanuel Webb.

This concert celebrates Christmas through the elegance and brilliance of the Baroque era. The programme includes the overture from Handel's Messiah, Corelli's and Torelli's Christmas Concertos, and Vivaldi's Four Seasons. Vivaldi's concertos bring the natural world vividly to life, conjuring imagery such as birdsong, harvest celebrations, and winter ice. Emmanuel Webb appears as the violin soloist, and the performance lasts approximately two hours including a short interval.
