Folk Dance with Steve Moore & Kevin Downham

An evening of social folk dancing at Loughborough Folk Dance Club with caller Steve Moore and live accordion music from Kevin Downham.

Loughborough Folk Dance Club hosts a social folk dance evening with Steve Moore calling and Kevin Downham providing live music. Steve calls across styles including English ceilidh, English country dance and American contra, explaining each dance before the music starts. Kevin, an experienced accordion, melodeon and concertina player with roots in traditional clog and step dance music, supplies the tunes. No experience or partner is needed and beginners are welcome to join in at their own pace.
