About
A lively evening of social folk dancing featuring English ceilidh and American contra styles, led by caller Malcolm Jowett and accompanied by the Celebration Band.
The event offers a varied programme of ceilidh and American contra dances, combining energetic and flowing patterns. Both styles are taught by caller Malcolm Jowett before the music starts, so no prior experience or partner is needed. The Celebration Band provides live music with a repertoire spanning English, Scottish, Irish, and American folk dance music.
