Night Hike: Autumn

A free, adults-only guided 10.7km night hike around Caldecotte Lake, Simpson, the Grand Union canal and Ouzel Valley on Bonfire Night.

The final hike in this year's Night Hike series, this autumn walk takes place after dark on Bonfire Night, led by an experienced Parks Trust staff member at a moderate/fast pace of roughly 22 minutes per mile. The 10.7km (6.6-mile) route passes through Caldecotte, Simpson village, the Grand Union canal, Woughton on the Green and Ouzel Valley, with breaks to rest and regroup along the way. Walkers should bring a headtorch, drink, snack and suitable footwear, as the hike runs in all weather and may pass private firework displays. Dogs are not permitted except for assistance dogs.
