Former RAF navigator Chris Stradling gives a Friday morning talk on a year operating the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight.

Former Flight Lieutenant Chris 'Stradders' Stradling MBE discusses a 12-month period serving on the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight, covering what happens to the aircraft over the Winter break and the flying and engineering challenges of keeping an 85-year-old historic aircraft serviceable during the UK display season. Stradling retired from the RAF in September 2025 after more than 41 years, including three years as a Bomber Navigator on the BBMF.
