Parkland Walk (Milton Park)

A free conservation volunteering day with Haringey Conservation Volunteers, clearing laurel and maintaining dead hedges on the Parkland Walk.

Haringey Conservation Volunteers meet for a practical conservation session at Milton Park on the Parkland Walk, a Haringey green space of woodland, meadow and ponds. The work involves cutting back laurel on the bankside, adding to existing dead hedges and checking them. No experience is needed and volunteers can join for part or all of the day; participants should be 18 or over (or provide a parental permission form) and bring a packed lunch and suitable outdoor clothing and footwear.
