About
A free conservation volunteering day at the Paddock Community Nature Park with seasonal tasks such as meadow maintenance, path clearance and pond work.
The Paddock Practical Volunteers meet for a hands-on conservation session at this community nature park beside the River Lea. Seasonal tasks may include meadow and woodland maintenance, path clearance, pond work and woodwork, with beginners and experienced gardeners both welcome. The day runs from 10am to 3pm with trained leaders, tools and protective clothing provided; participants bring their own lunch and outdoor clothing. Note that construction is underway on site, so activities may change at short notice.
