Trial Advocacy Training: Aberdeen
About
A two-day practical advocacy course for lawyers covering examination in chief and cross-examination through simulated trial exercises.
This interactive two-day course, led by advocacy trainer Angus Crawford, gives trial lawyers hands-on practice in examination in chief and cross-examination for criminal trials and civil proofs. Delegates work in small groups within a mock court environment, examining and cross-examining witnesses in a simulated trial, with each exercise followed by constructive feedback and, where recorded, the chance to review their own performance. Topics include questioning technique, witness control, communication and case theory, and completion earns a National Institute of Trial Advocacy (NITA)-trained lawyer credential with 14 hours CPD.
