About
Take a strenuous open-moorland circuit above Wooler Common, Carey Burn and Great Moor.
The route leaves Wooler Common for Wooler Common Farm, follows Hell Path to Carey Burn and Broadstruther, then climbs Great Moor before returning via Scald Hill and St Cuthbert’s Way. The eight-and-a-half-mile walk is rated Strenuous 7 and takes five hours. Dogs are not permitted.
