Nipper the Dog Family Trail

A free family trail at Holst Victorian House where children follow clues with Nipper the Dog, HMV's mascot, through the museum's historic rooms.

This family trail invites young visitors to explore Holst Victorian House with the help of Nipper the Dog, the mascot for HMV (His Master's Voice), which first recorded Holst's music in 1926. Designed by local illustrator Art for Livv, the trail leads children to follow clues and uncover secrets as they journey through the museum's historic rooms. It runs all day throughout the museum's opening period and is free with museum entry — visitors simply ask for the trail on arrival.
