Fused Glass with Stevie Davies

A beginner-friendly fused glass workshop with artist Stevie Davies, making a hanging or coasters from layered coloured glass.

Fused glass artist Stevie Davies leads a relaxed, hands-on session at The Sock Gallery, Loughborough, suitable for complete beginners and those with some experience. Participants cut, arrange and layer transparent or opaque glass strips on a pre-cut base to create either a hanging or a pair of coasters, with optional dichroic glass available for a small extra charge paid to the tutor. Finished pieces are kiln-fired and returned to The Sock Gallery for collection around three weeks later. The session runs 10.30am–1pm and is recommended for ages 16+.
