Covers safe use of sewing equipment, working with different fabrics and a range of dressmaking and garment-repair projects, with an emphasis on sustainable fashion through extending the life of clothing via alteration and mending. Learners can progress to Creative Sewing & Textiles or higher-level sewing and fashion courses.
