Medication Train the Trainer

A two-day train-the-trainer course for those who deliver medication training and assess staff competency in care organisations.

This two-day course from Suffolk Care Association is aimed at people responsible for delivering medication training within their organisation. It covers the trainer's role and boundaries, teaching and assessment methods, and planning sessions that meet individual and group learning needs. Content also includes medication management, safe handling and administration, record-keeping, medication errors, risk management and relevant legislation. Participants finish with a micro-teach competency assessment, demonstrating they can plan and deliver a medication training session and assess learners.
