Explore the restored eighteenth-century Almshouse 14 by candlelight and learn how its residents kept warm, ate, washed and decorated their homes in Hackney.

This seasonal guided tour visits the restored almshouse dwellings under period lighting and complements the museum’s Winter Past exhibition. Tours meet at the Welcome Desk and last one hour. The historic rooms are not wheelchair accessible; the period lighting may flicker.
