Murder, murder, polis, three stairs up! An Evening in Taggart’s Glasgow

An evening exploring the history and appeal of the long-running police drama Taggart with its creator and a public historian.

The event features Robert Love, the Head of Drama at STV for twenty years, in conversation with public historian Fergus Sutherland. They will explore the stories behind the programme, its enduring appeal, and the Glasgow it captured on screen. The discussion will also address whether Jim Taggart ever actually said, “There’s been a murder”.
