Beethoven - Sonata in F Major, Op. 24 (Spring)

A violin and piano recital featuring Beethoven's Spring Sonata, works by Pugnani-Kreisler and Prokofiev at St Mary le Strand.

This recital pairs Beethoven's Sonata in F Major, Op. 24 (the 'Spring' Sonata) with G. Pugnani-Kreisler's Praeludium und Allegro and Prokofiev's Sonata No. 2 for Violin and Piano, Op. 94a. The programme lists each work's movements, from the Spring Sonata's Allegro opening to the Prokofiev's closing Allegro con brio. It forms part of St Mary le Strand's public and cultural programme of concerts in the candlelit baroque church.
