Beginners Overlocker Workshop

A three-hour beginner workshop at Nellies Fabric Shop teaching how to thread, adjust and maintain an overlocker, with materials and refreshments included.

This three-hour session is aimed at people new to using an overlocker. Participants learn how to thread the machine correctly and adjust its settings to achieve a neat overlocked edge, practising on different fabric types including stretch fabrics. The workshop also covers machine maintenance and troubleshooting common problems, and if time allows attendees complete a small project to take home. All materials and refreshments are provided; attendees bring their own overlocker or can request to use one of the shop's machines when booking.
