It’s A Wonderful Life: A Radio Play on Stage by Tony Palermo
About
No Nonsense Productions stage It's a Wonderful Life as a 1940s radio broadcast with live sound effects at Beacon Arts Centre this December.
No Nonsense Productions return after a five-year hiatus with their stage adaptation of It's a Wonderful Life, following previous radio plays including Para Handy, Dracula, Frankenstein and A Christmas Carol. Six actors play 1940s radio actors who in turn portray all the characters of the classic Christmas film. The production features live sound effects and an original score, offering audiences a glimpse of how a 1940s radio broadcast was produced. Performances run at 7.30pm with a Saturday matinee at 2.30pm.
