Dance for Parkinson's

A weekly dance class for people living with Parkinson's, their families and carers, followed by tea, coffee and cake.

Beacon Arts Centre hosts a weekly dance class designed especially for people living with Parkinson's, their families and carers. The sessions suit complete beginners and aim to build confidence and creativity while addressing Parkinson's-specific concerns such as balance, flexibility, coordination, gait and social isolation. Each class runs for 120 minutes and is followed by tea, coffee, cake and a chance to chat.
