Children and Young People's SARC and CSA Best Practice Day

A professional best-practice day for clinicians working with children and young people in SARC and other child sexual abuse health settings.

Organised by The Bridge SARC at Bristol NHS Foundation Trust, this in-person day brings together clinicians and professionals working in SARC or other health-based child sexual abuse services. Sessions include an overview of systematic review findings on the physical signs of child sexual abuse regarding vaginal bleeding in pre-pubertal girls, plus 'Back to Basics' sessions on talking to young people about self-harm and suicide and about eating. The day is themed around the National Year of Reading, with speakers and workshops to be announced nearer the date.
