Oxleas Woods – Slowing the Flow

Volunteer sessions at Oxleas Woods improve wetland habitat and slow floodwater in the River Wogebourne catchment.

The winter project extends earlier leaky-dam work to smaller tributaries and adds dead hedges in eroded woodland. Sessions meet at Oxleas Woods Café car park, with equipment provided; the organiser may email a changed meeting point before a session.
