and the river always flows - sensory dance experience

An inclusive sensory dance session inspired by the River Stour, designed for people with profound and multiple learning disabilities but open to all abilities.

Led by Joanne Collingbourne, this sensory dance experience uses gentle lighting, sound, texture, soft materials and supported movement to let participants explore dance in their own way. It was created with people with profound and multiple learning disabilities in mind, but is open to people of all abilities. Two sessions run on 26 October 2026, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. The venue offers step-free access, inclusive toilets and changing and feeding facilities.
