Moments of Light

A free large-scale outdoor light installation by Bruce Munro illuminating the Dorothy House hospice grounds each evening this autumn and winter.

From October to December 2026, the grounds of Dorothy House hospice in Winsley will host a large-scale immersive light installation created by artist Bruce Munro as a gift to the community. Visitors can wander among thousands of illuminated forms glowing in the evening darkness, with the option to dedicate a light on a Firefly in remembrance of someone special. The installation is designed as a place of beauty, remembrance and hope, and is open to all, with free tickets and donations invited to support the hospice's end-of-life care.
