Scotland Winter Adventure, Munro's and Winter Skills Weekend

A four-day guided winter hiking and skills trip in Scotland's mountains, covering ice axe and crampon use, avalanche awareness and navigation, based at Aviemore Youth Hostel.

GO London Hiking runs this hard-graded winter adventure weekend in the Scottish Highlands, staying at Aviemore Youth Hostel from Friday 5 to Monday 8 March 2027. Friday covers kit checks, trip planning and an afternoon of winter skills including ice axe and crampon use, snow conditions and navigation, followed by a winter mountain day on Saturday and a Munro ascent on Sunday, weather and fitness permitting. Professional instructors lead the guided hikes and instruction, and the trip is open to experienced hikers used to long days in the hills; return transport and four nights of self-catering dormitory accommodation are included.
