High Wood Work Party Day

Free monthly volunteer work party helping restore 64 acres of ancient woodland at High Wood near Liskeard.

Protect Earth runs monthly volunteer work parties at High Wood, a 64-acre site of ancient woodland near Liskeard that was once partly converted to a commercial plantation. Volunteers carry out hands-on conservation tasks to boost biodiversity, improve habitat for wildlife and restore the wood towards temperate rainforest, while making it more accessible to the community. Sessions run all day and people can join for as long as they like; tools are provided.
