Evening talk: Restoring the River South Esk
About
Kelly Ann Dempsey of the River South Esk Catchment Partnership gives an evening talk on catchment-scale restoration projects supporting nature recovery and climate resilience.
Kelly Ann Dempsey, Partnership Manager of the River South Esk Catchment Partnership, describes how more than 27 projects across the catchment are being delivered by communities and stakeholders, from burns, wetlands and moorland in upland areas to urban ponds, meadows and woodlands, plus restoration work at Montrose Basin Local Nature Reserve. The talk covers partnership working with land managers and the long-term aim of supporting nature recovery and climate-resilient communities along the river's 50-mile landscape. The presentation is followed by a Q&A session, refreshments and a raffle. Doors open at 7pm for a 7.30pm start; the event is family friendly with disabled access.
