Brilliant Birds (& Willow Weaving) at Summer Leys

A family birdwatching and willow-weaving session at Summer Leys Nature Reserve during October half term.

This half-term session at Summer Leys Nature Reserve begins with birdwatching from a hide, learning to identify different bird species on the reserve. Participants then try a range of bird-themed crafts, including weaving a suet bird feeder from willow. Recommended for ages 7+, with younger children welcome; the session runs partly outdoors and lasts 90 minutes. Note that nuts and seeds are used, so it is unsuitable for those with nut allergies.
