Brilliant Birds Home Educator Learning Session
About
A home-education day exploring bird adaptations through observation, binoculars and birdwatching.
Compare ducks, swans and geese, exploring how webbed feet and oil-coated feathers help birds thrive. Use child-friendly binoculars for birdwatching, then make fat balls to take home for garden birds. The Learning Team session runs 10:15–13:30, including a 45-minute break, with all-day reserve access afterwards until closing. The 17 November session is for ages 4–7; 18 November is for ages 8–11. The £10 child ticket includes equipment, a private room for belongings and breaks, and one accompanying adult. Each child must be accompanied; maximum one adult per child.
