About

A six-week Thursday play group at the Great Tapestry of Scotland where children and their grown-ups create and connect through hands-on making.

Scene Setters is a play group for children and their grown-ups, produced by Alchemy Film & Arts. Across six weekly Thursday sessions, participants step into an inclusive, hands-on environment where new worlds can be made from a range of materials, giving parents and carers a chance to connect with their wee ones and with each other. Sessions run 10.30am–12pm from 22 October to 26 November 2026, with places limited and booking essential.
