Witches, Wizards & Ghosts Shadow Puppet Workshop

A Halloween shadow puppet workshop where children and adults make a puppet with movable parts and perform a spooky story on an illuminated screen.

This two-hour Halloween workshop at the Scottish Mask & Puppet Centre is led by the centre's puppeteer. Participants learn to create a shadow puppet, including attaching sticks and making movable parts, then cast their character's shadow onto an illuminated screen to make up their own spooky story. Adults attending with children must book a ticket for themselves, and the session teaches skills that can be reused for future crafting.
