About
Chicago improv trio Sand bring their long-form, documentary-inspired improvised show to Monkey Barrel Comedy for one night.
Sand, named Chicago's Best Improv Team by NewCity, perform a single 60-minute show of entirely unscripted long-form improvisation. Mike Brunlieb and Thomas Kelly explore characters in surprising ways, with multi-instrumentalist Tim Joyce, drawing on documentary film, fairy tales and professional wrestling so the real and the surreal collide. The show is intended for mature audiences aged 16+ and may contain strong language and adult themes.
