Pieces of My Life by Kirris Riviere
About
Kirris Riviere performs his autobiographical solo show, recorded as a podcast in his late mum's council flat, blending memory, music and storytelling about grief, identity and racism.
Written and performed by actor Kirris Riviere and produced by theatre company Ad Infinitum, this 55-minute show follows Kirris as he clears his late mother's council flat and sets up a podcast studio to record his life story before leaving for good. The piece weaves together memories, original music and journal fragments, exploring identity, grief and systemic racism, while celebrating his optimistic, loving mum. Themes of racial abuse, mental health and strong language mean the show is guided at ages 12+.
