‘Heart of Scotland Forest Partnership’ – Practical Conservation Day

A practical conservation day with the Heart of Scotland Forest Partnership, doing tree tube maintenance and sapling planting at Garth Wood.

Join the ranger team and colleagues from the Heart of Scotland Forest Partnership for a day of hands-on conservation work at Garth Wood, part of a regenerative rewilding project. Activities include tree tube maintenance and planting young saplings on the hillside slopes, with the chance to learn about work to help native species regenerate. The session is adults only; outdoor clothing, sturdy footwear and a packed lunch are required, and the ground is uneven.
