RBO Live: Alice's Adventures in Wonderland

A live Royal Ballet cinema screening of Christopher Wheeldon's Alice's Adventures in Wonderland at Amey Theatre.

This is a live broadcast of The Royal Ballet performing Christopher Wheeldon's Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, first staged in 2011. Alice follows Lewis Carroll, transformed into a white rabbit, down a rabbit hole and encounters strange creatures and the runaway Knave of Hearts before waking to wonder if it was all a daydream. The production features Joby Talbot's score, which blends contemporary soundworlds with 19th-century-style melodies, and Bob Crowley's designs using puppetry and projections. It combines world-class dance with family-friendly entertainment.
