Frankenstein

Nick Dear's stage adaptation of Shelley's Frankenstein, told from the creature's perspective, at the Sir Thomas Allen Assembly Rooms Theatre.

Nick Dear's stage adaptation of Mary Shelley's Frankenstein places the creature at its centre. Created by scientist Victor Frankenstein through experimental methods, the creature is abandoned for its grotesque appearance and must navigate a hostile, prejudiced world, finding brief kindness with the blind man De Lacey before anger and violence take hold. Performances last approximately 2 hours 15 minutes, with doors opening 30 minutes before curtain.
