Contemporary Crafts at The American Museum
About
A Christmas craft selling exhibition by 17 members of the Gloucestershire Guild at the American Museum & Gardens, with live craft demonstrations.
The Gloucestershire Guild, founded in 1933, hosts a Christmas craft selling exhibition over one weekend at the American Museum & Gardens. Seventeen Guild members show and sell contemporary craft across ceramics, jewellery, textiles, knitwear, basketry, furniture and rugs, offering handcrafted gifts for the home and to wear. Each day, members demonstrate their skills in woodwork, textiles and ceramics, giving visitors the chance to watch making in practice and talk to the artists. Visitors can also explore the gardens, the Manor House's American decorative and folk art collection, the American Garden Deli and shop.
