Autumn/Winter Textile Tours

A guided hour-long tour of the museum's textile collection, including historic quilts, in the period rooms of the Manor House.

An experienced guide leads visitors through the period rooms of the Manor House, showcasing pieces from the museum's world-famous collection of textiles, embroideries, weavings and prints, including over 200 historic quilts and rugs. The tour covers the different techniques used and the social importance of quilting, and lasts approximately one hour. Tickets include access to the Textile Room, which houses the permanent collection of quilts and textiles; non-members must also buy museum admission.
