Sherwood Forest Trust leads a festive guided walk on Christmas Eve, starting at the picnic benches at Sherwood Heath and passing through Cockglode Wood and Thoresby Vale. The walk lasts around two hours, with hot chocolate and mulled wine served at the top of Thoresby Pit. Participants should dress for the weather and wear sturdy footwear; the walk suits all ages and dogs are welcome.
