Weekly outdoor nature sessions for children aged 2-5 and their families in the grounds of David Livingstone Birthplace, Blantyre.

Wee Explorers is a fully outdoor, nature-based group for families with children aged 2-5, running on Friday afternoons. Each hour-long session includes activities such as arts and crafts, den-building, bird spotting, yoga, hiking and storytelling, aiming to build family awareness of nature's benefits and develop skills in communication, problem solving, STEM, climate and sustainability. Sessions are hosted by a qualified Childcare Practitioner and Community Educator skilled in Forest Kindergarten; children must be accompanied by an adult, and appropriate outdoor clothing is essential.
