Guided 15-minute tours inside the Chieftain tank exploring Cold War crew life, on selected dates at The Tank Museum.

Bookable 15-minute guided tours take visitors inside the Chieftain, the British Army's Cold War main battle tank. Expert educators explain where each crew member sat, how the gun was loaded and daily life inside an armoured vehicle, with hands-on object handling. Groups are limited to four people per slot; visitors must be at least 1.25m tall and able to enter and exit unaided, and a Museum entry ticket or Annual Pass is also required.
