The David Gordon Trio returns to Hampstead Jazz Club for a two-set evening of jazz, from their album 'In C (Live from London)' to spontaneous improvisation.
The trio performs a single 75-minute show in two contrasting halves. The first set, 'In C', draws on their latest album 'In C (Live from London)', with every piece played in the key of C, moving through moods from 'Greenland' to 'Choro Moreno'. The second set loosens the structure, exploring repertoire from across the trio's catalogue in a more impromptu style. Doors open at 7.30pm; the club is not licensed for under-16s after 9pm.
